Nigerian Society of Engineers, Maitama Branch believes that participation in practical engineering activities provides the best way of encouraging engineering professionals to be on top of their game and keep up on other Engineering Disciplines.
The dream of the founding fathers of the NSE was to run a vibrant Society that cares and articulates the aspiration of her teeming members. It is instructive here to note that the founding fathers formed the Society as a resistance movement against injustices meted to them by their foreign counterpart in their own very homeland. Today, after over fifty years of formal independence of the Nigerian state, we are faced with a more sinister environment – fighting your own kits and kins to obtain your right/allow you exercise your freedom, that is, being allowed to practice the engineering profession without the Nigerian factor…
The Maitama Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers was inaugurated in 2010. The branch looks after the professional needs of members through well structured programmes and regular interactions among the different cadre of membership, enhancing high professional standard and ethical practices.
We hold our Monthly Ordinary General Meetings every 2nd Thursday of month, except otherwise communicated to members.
